Terms of Use
These terms apply when you download or use the Arcana Cat app, developed by Crino Games ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. What Arcana Cat is
Arcana Cat is a tarot game for entertainment and self-reflection. Readings don't predict the future and are not facts. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other professional advice, and you should not make important decisions based on them. If you are going through a hard time, please talk to someone you trust or a professional. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number.
2. Who can use it
Arcana Cat is intended for adults (18 and over). By using it you confirm that you are old enough to accept these terms where you live.
3. Your questions
You are responsible for what you write. Don't include other people's personal information, and don't use the app to write anything illegal, hateful, harassing or meant to harm anyone. Don't overload or attack our servers, reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows, cheat purchases, or use bots or automated access.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
- Arcana Cat is free to download. Arcana Cat Premium (monthly or yearly) and items such as card back packs and tables can be bought in the app. Prices are shown in the app and the store before you buy.
- Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.
- If a free trial is offered and you don't cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy, and under the consumer protection laws of your country where they apply (in Brazil, including the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Defense Code where applicable).
- Premium includes a fair-use limit on readings per day, shown in the app.
- Virtual items and Premium features are a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use them in the app. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged or sold. Purchases are linked to your store account and can be restored on another device with the same account.
5. Our content
The app, its art, cards, texts, music, characters and the Arcana Cat name and logo belong to Crino Games or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app on your devices for your own non-commercial use. You can share images of your readings created with the app's Share feature on social networks.
6. Changes and availability
We may update, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app. We'll try to give notice in the app of important changes. If we end a paid feature you are subscribed to, you can cancel in the store. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on readings, or for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence, and the mandatory consumer laws of your country continue to apply.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
